Great News ~ Heather
Oh, thank you God ~ Heather's tumor is benign. She had a dr. visit today and got the wonderful news. We are sooooooooo incredibly thankful. She will need to go back in 4 months for a check up, but no treatments are necessary. None of us know what a day will hold, our days are in God's hands. Heather's world was turned upside down a few months ago..............she has taken each day a step at a time, so bravely and courageously. Our prayers continue to be with Heather, Kim and John as they recover from all that they have dealt with recently. Father God, give this family REST as only YOU can.
Thank you all dear family and friends for your prayers and concern ~ a blessing beyond measure.

Update on Heather
Good Sunday evening to you dear family and friends ~ good news to report on Heather. She was released from the hospital Friday around 5 p.m. She had a rather tough night and day Saturday, as the doctor changed some of her medications. It made her very nauseaous. Between feeling sick and pain around the incision area, she was pretty miserable. Last night, the doctor gave her an anti-nauseous medication and that has REALLY helped. She has had a good day ~ able to eat a little and rest. I spoke with her by phone, and she sounded so good....chatting and laughing with me. She has a great attitude. Please continue to pray for her as she recovers. She has an appt. with the doctor on Thursday. What a blessing to know there is a "family of prayer warriors" walking with Heather! You ARE a blessing.

Wonderful News
Heather is doing GREAT! She was moved from ICU to a regular room today. My sister Susan saw her and her comment was "Heather looks wonderful!". The new room has a little sofa in it and she and Kim were sitting on it ~ chatting ~ Heather in her cute pj's. Now isn't that something? Brain surgery on Monday and this is only Wednesday. Heather was able to eat a little more today, and she is talking and laughing. Oh, it is so great to be able to write these words..............Thank you Lord for your hand of healing.
The word is she may go home Friday.
Continue to be in prayer for all ~ Heather, Kim and John. The missing piece is the pathology report, which may come by week's end.
Thank you for your faithful prayers. To God be the glory.
To God be the Glory ~ great things He has done
Thank you God for your work and answers to our prayers. Thank you friends for your prayers for Heather ~ her surgery was a success. The tumor was removed and the doctor said it was the primary tumor....no others. Unfortunately, the biopsy was inconclusive, so the tumor has been sent to pathology. We hope to hear by the end of the week the results of that.
Heather is still in ICU, but making great progress. She is sitting up in a chair and eating a little. She is handling this so well.
My sister Kim is simply amazing ~ she has been strong and such an encourager to Heather, as always. Please continue to pray for her and Heather's dad, John.
The healing begins................with God directing the journey.
More to come..................

Walking Together
In the past few days we learned our dear niece, Heather, has a brain tumor. This weekend we had the privilege of being with family in her hospital room ~ helping Heather and her family wait for test results, enjoying each other's company, and comforting each other, and yes, laughing together. Please pray for this dear family ~ Heather, Kim, Brandon and John. We KNOW God's hand is in this situation even though it is unknown, because He says........
- "Fear not for I am with you. Be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10
- The steadfast love of the Lord never fails. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is Thy faithfulness." Lam 3:22,23
- Do not be anxious about anything. But in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Phil. 4:6,7
Pray with us ~ for God to give the doctors wisdom, peace for the family in the midst of unknowns, and encouragement in these days of uncertainty.
