Happy Birthday Tammi

Tammi is a long time friend of ours....................who is staying with us while she is looking for a job in the area. Tammi's parents are dear friends of ours from our time in CO. Tammi and our kids were friends and played together in the 80's. We are enjoying getting to know the "grown up" Tammi ~ she is a joy! We celebrated her birthday with a fun evening out. Happy Birthday Tammi and may God bless your year ahead.

Arriving home from work....................with a little adventure. She left her cell phone on the bus coming home.....so she and Alden "chased" the bus to retrieve it. God graciously allowed them to catch it and yes, get the phone! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What would a day be without a little adventure anyway?!

Dinner at "Mike's"..................Tammi enjoyed our favorite restaurant..........which is now one of her favorites! Fun to celebrate together.

As we left the restaurant.............we enjoyed the lunar eclipse! What a sight to behold.

This is the morning after..............Alden went out to run..............and came upon this glorious sunrise!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God's incredible creation.

Christy's Birthday ~ Celebrate

What fun to celebrate Christy ~ Happy Birthday to our dear daugther-in-law!

We had fun going to a George Mason basketball game together and then going to Friendly's afterwards for ice cream and gifts.

We pray God's blessings on your year ahead Christy.

We have enjoyed the 3-day weekend ~ it has been low key and nice to rest. Dorian had joined the MANY in this area with some sort of sickness ~ she hasn't felt good for a good week, no voice, headache, cough, fever. She has enjoyed resting and feels a tad better as the weekend comes to a close. Courtney and her family (minus Pat) have also been down and out with a flu bug. We appreciate God's hand of mercy and strength during these times.

We woke up this morning to BEAUTIFUL weather ~ 70 degrees. Alden enjoyed it fully by a good run late this morning. Of course, tomorrow is supposed to be mid-40's, but the respite was sure enjoyed!

Courtney planned such a fun party ~ Fiesta theme, including tacos and pinatas!

We had great food, great company, and so enjoyed focusing on Joshua ~ our wonderful grandson who brings us all much joy. May God bless you Joshua this year ahead.
