March Madness!!!!!!!

We are excited about our weekend ~

it is totally FREE.

We can do whatever we want ~

no commitments!!!!!!

We hardly EVER get a weekend like that.

We have had a B.U.S.Y week and haven't taken in much

basketball, BUT...........NC State plays tonight and we can't WAIT

to watch the game!!!!!!!  :)

Update:  Game over.....with a loss, but WHAT a game it was! 

And.....in the midst of b'ball.......

Alden will be working on taxes

and I will be getting the house in order.

Love it ~ and so very thankful!!!!!!!!

The beginning of another GREAT year!



Wild and Crazy Weekend ~ Tons of FUN

Friday night we had a sleepover AT Courtney's house ~

Pat was in Haiti and we wanted to be of help to Courtney.

What a great time we had.

We are blessed to LIVE in the VERY town as all our

kids and grandkids ~ to just live every day life with them.

The only downside is.....we never get to STAY overnight

with them!

We loved having a good long visit with Courtney into

the wee hours of the night.....

and have the kids crawl into bed with us in the morning.

We have such special memories of our kids crawling into bed

with their grandparents. 

Um ~ such special moments.

We headed to the basketball court ~

and watched Joshua, Bailey and Rebekah play their games.

she gets it and is right in there ~

AND.....has lots of fun doing it.

We had a little break before Rebekah's game,

so we came home......

enjoyed reading.

Then headed back to Rebekah's game ~

John and Hannah joined us.

Afterwards, headed home ......

to celebrate birthdays!

Got caught up with each other.

and of course, enjoyed some CAKE!

John's parents were in town  ~

so they bravely came over to meet the family! 

 It was so good to spend some time with them ~

first visit together after being engaged!

We headed over to John's brother's house ~

to meet Chris and Amanda

and just spend some good time together.

Oh my ~

were we a bit tired at the end of the weekend ~

absolutely ~

but oh yes, it was a

TREASURE of a few days!!!!!!!!
