Myrtle Beach Respite

Alden and I took off for a few days of BEACH ~ peace and quiet.

What a blessing it was!

He loves to read, but hardly ever gets the chance.

He loved it!

Isn't this AMAZING!!!!  A little boy actually sat in it!

Sooooo peaceful.

Stopped on our way home to visit with Aunt Louise ~ and Uncle Jerry and Aunt Jean were there!

What a good time it was!

Precious lady ~ she is doing really GOOD

and we are so glad.

Alden and I so enjoyed the time together ~

in a VERY peaceful place.

Summer 2012 is off to a nice start.

Thankful.

June 19 ~ Hannah was born........

26 years ago.

Welcome Summer 2012

The lunch box is put away

The sunroom is calling ~

thoughts of beach, reading, life to ponder ~

new lists to be made and checked off.

to rest and be filled up ~ physically and spiritually ~

gatherings and people to be with.

A number of us were recognized at school Tuesday night ~

mine was for 15 years at Immanuel Christian School.

Thankful for this place.

Can you "hear" the fountain water.....and "see"

the sunset in the distance?  Oh so lovely.

Summer ~ I am SO glad you are HERE!  :)

Nita - Promoted to Glory

This morning she took her last breath on this earth ~

but we rejoice that she is WITH her Lord and HOME....out of pain.

 Nita left a legacy of character and fun!

This lady knew how to live ~

and live she did! 

She mostly loved her Lord and her husband.

Her friends felt so special.

She lived each day to the fullest, not matter what it held.

She was QUITE the cook and how we loved her desserts.

She LOVED chocolate! 

Nita ~ thanks for the memories......

and we look forward to seeing you again.....

one day soon.
