Hannah left this morning for South America ~
a dream come true for her.
{Hannah texted....they arrived safely in Guatemala ~
on their way by bus to Antigua (um, for $10!).
They are excited!
They will be staying in a hostel until Monday
(getting some MUCH needed REST)
when they begin the language school and staying
with a family.
Thank you for your prayers ~ keep them coming!}

She has been planning this for over a year.
She and her friend Audrey
are going to travel ~
do language school, meet people,
see places,
and just enjoy a 6 month
"stay" in Central and South America.
Today.....they go to Guatemala ~
to rest up a few days....
before starting 3 weeks of language school
and staying with a local family!
Is that cool or what?!
She went to Africa with Courtney and Pat ~
and loved being with them through the adoption process
of getting Lincoln and Levi.
It delayed her leaving on this South America trip ~
but she was happy to do it!
Hannah arrived home from Africa Saturday morning ~

She and Lincoln have a very special bond ~

in only 72 hours she would be leaving again...

It was a bit overwhelming ~
She did have the blessing of getting to KNOW
Lincoln and Levi before heading off on her trip ~
she is VERY thankful for that.
I know one little boy who will be missing his
Auntie Hannah.
Saturday afternoon she and John enjoyed some time together.....
Because Sunday morning she took John to begin HIS
great adventure ~ hiking the Appalachian Trail for 6 months.
Okay.....so are you getting the vision?
A wonderful, yet tough few days.
She then came over to our house ~
to spend the evening and stay the night.
We had some fun!

she said it was kind of like the
theme for her trip by now. :)
She simply crashed after dinner ~
phew, jet lag is tough!

She headed home to DC to spend some time with her friends ~
She finished packing up ~
Yep, this is all she's taking!
It's all she took to Africa ~
and all she's taking to S. America!
