Yep...

the 6 Cassada kids ~ our grandkids

came to spend the weekend with us.

Alden and I spoke near the end of the weekend saying

"do you find yourself counting

6 heads"?  Yep, we did often!!!!!!

We were glad to give Courtney and Pat some "couple" time! 

We had fun in the backyard ~

Of course, we did water balloons!!!!!!

 

Checked out the VRE ~ BIG hit!!!!!!

We went on the search for the perfect place for our picnic lunch.

Um....of course, RIGHT here ~ by the train tracks........

Us three girls even got to go.......

to the mall ~ to do some birthday shopping!!!!!

How fun was that!!!!!! 

Alden and Joshua got to go throw the ball ~ and enjoyed a bike ride.

Good family room time ~ just relaxed....and enjoying each other.

Precious moments in the morning......
on our bed with sleepy eyed kids. 
Truly a favorite time for us.

Sunday morning we chose not to GO to church,
but instead had a sweet time of worship right here in our
family room.
Truly a sweet time ~ Scripture reading, singing together,
and each of us prayed.  That will be a precious
memory for Alden and I for a lifetime!

We even made it to National Harbor.
