Road Trip

with the Richmond Crew ~

We had planned to go on a boat ride, but with the storms predicted

we changed plans....

and took a road trip.

We headed to Smithfield.......

and what FUN we had!

Our destination ~ Smithfield Station

for lunch......together

We gathered ~ settled in the car .......and began the fun We drove through some beautiful countryside ~ talked and laughed along the way We drove down to Jamestown, and took the ferry across the river Enjoying the sights and breeze

Once across, we drove on to Smithfield

We walked around the marina a bit....

then ate some lunch ~ it was delicious!

We began to hear a loud noise.....thunder?

nope ~ a speed boat rally!

It was quite the entertainment ~ I'd say around 50 speed boats

arrived ~ for their own lunch ~ and fun!

Before heading home ~ we remembered Richard's brother ~

Time with Hannah

One of my most favorite things to do.

Hannah and I met up in Old Town this morning ~

she rode her bike from DC and I rode in my AC'd car!!!!!!

What fun we had getting caught up ~

talking and laughing (while sipping our drinks).

She is good for me.

Fun at Grandma's House, Swim Meet, Sawyer's B'Day

Special Wednesday ~

lots of fun events this day.

Courtney's kids came to Grandma's house ~

Rebekah, Joshua, Bailey, and Sawyer Then we went to Rebekah and Joshua's swim meet Finale ~ early celebration of Sawyer's 2nd birthday ~ with grandparents Nothing like chalk on the driveway~

and....with such a fun message (and creative!)

so as to rest up for the swim meet later on

Grandparents came! Barbara, Randy, Alden and I ~ so fun to cheer our grandkids on~
