Hannah Sighted/Happy Birthday Sawyer......AND Lincoln

Hannah is having the time of her life ~

in Guatemala!

We skyped with her for the first time Thursday night ~

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh how GREAT it was to connect with her.....

to SEE her face and expressions,

to HEAR her voice.....

to hear about her adventures.......

and.....to shed a few tears amongst us as we said....goodnight.

We celebrate Sawyer for his 3rd birthday!!!!!!!

What a TREAT this little boy is ~

full of life, sweet spirit, GREAT smile

Lazy Days of Summer ~ No Way!/Road Trip

I DO love summer ~

it means my days are just FREE-ER.....to do other things....

and move a tad slower.  I am SO thankful!

Let me get you caught up on the last week ~

and by the way....the days are FLYING! 

Days......slow down........please!!!!

Alden ~ a special man in our lives.

He is about to have a BIG b'day.....

and of course would not want any fuss over him.

We've been talking for awhile.....what WOULD he like to do

for his b'day....party: NO; Cancun:  NO;  Boston:  NO.....

maybe.....a chair on a beach......hmmmm.

but......we ARE going on a road trip!!!!!!!

I had the pleasure of spending the day with my friend Nita Monday ~

she is one amazing lady! 

This is a special frien of mine ~ Mary Sue.

She and I treasure our friendship.....AND we work together.

How neat is that!!!!!!

Well, she and her husband Neil have a GREAT family ~

Update on Hannah.....in Central America!

They are having a FANTASTIC time.....safe and sound!

 seeing sights ~ volcano here!

She and Audrey are presently at a language school, living with a local lady.

What adventures and fun they are having!!!!!!

We love that she has internet access and we can be in touch!

Soon to skype and we can't WAIT.  Adventure on Hannah!

Rested and Enjoying Summer

I did spend the WHOLE day Tuesday resting up ~

I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

 Our first hibiscus bloom of the summer ~

it takes awhile because we take our hibiscus plants

inside during the winter and

it simply takes awhile for it to re-acclimate to OUTSIDE. 

Hannah and Audrey are doing GREAT in Guatemala

( of course with ADVENTURE mixed in there)



 Yesterday I enjoyed spending some time with

Courtney and the crew  :)

Courtney took Lincoln and Levi to the dr. for check ups ~

and Grandma got to spend some time

with Rebekah, Joshua, Bailey and Sawyer!

 We had fun!!!!

Courtney had QUITE the time at the dr.

They did an extensive check.

Good.....but very stressful!



We played some at the house....

And....we ventured out to McD for lunch ~

and it was GREAT!



 Ahhhh, so fun getting to spend time with them!
