Hannah Home......for a visit!

Purpose:  To visit one special guy for his birthday ~

a SURPRISE visit!  :)

What fun!

Extra benefit ~ they came to visit us as well!!!!!

Most of you know.....John is hiking the Appalachian Trail

(made it almost to MASS. at this point)

and Hannah is travelling in Central and South America.

They rested

Pat came from work ~

We played out back

Alden came from work ~

great HUGS and happy faces!

 Some good eating and visiting

THEN.....Pat gathered up the kids

 Yet....more goodbyes

took the kids home ~

 so the 6 of us could ~

visit, laugh and get caught up REAL good til the wee hours of the

morning ~ SO very special.
Thanks Pat for giving us that time!

P.S.  The weather was GORGEOUS today!!!!!

Hannah and John enjoyed Burke Lake ~

before we all headed to dinner.

Hannah got to enjoy her roommates for a little while

AND ......

yes......Hannah and John are off tomorrow.....

back to their perspective adventures.

Hannah back to Central America...

and John back to the TRAIL.

5 a.m. Wednesday morning ~

 all ready to head to the airport.....

to say yet.....another goodbye.

Hannah is safely back in Central America ~ met up with her friend

(as I write at 7:30 p.m. Wed evening)

and John took a bus today back to the TRAIL (almost in Massachusetts).



As Alden, John and I left the airport.....the sun was just rising. 

John's roommates took him to breakfast, before he left on a bus.

What a sweet time of visiting ~

we're thankful for this VERY special time.

Ordered pizza ~

ate in our bathing suits. 

Ahhhhh, wonderful!

And there.....began our BEACH WEEK!

Sifa Visit

I have gotten WAY behind in my blogging,

so check out quite a few NEW posts.

Sifa is from Rwanda, not far from where Lincoln and Levi are from. 

She is a friend of Dorian's from the school

she works at. 

We have been wanting to have Sifa come visit

the boys.

It happened Monday!

Bev is a friend of both Courtney and I.

She has taken care of Sifa some over the past few years

AND has also visited Africa on mission trips.

Bev is one amazing lady ~

she would be your best friend if you knew her.

She is cheery, talkative and makes you feel SO comfortable.

Sifa and Bev brought a mango for the kids to share ~

and oh my, Levi LOVED it.  :)

It was a good visit.
