Ohhhh, what a blessing it is to have
Spring Break!
Filled our gas tank up at our favorite gas station ...
great prices!
(heading around Richmond)
Got on the road ~ with anticipation
for a good few days away.
Stopped by to see Aunt Louise
Yep, showing her the blog and pictures of the family!
She had a beautiful Spring wreath on her door.
We walked around her pretty area ~
admiring the beautiful azaleas.
It is ALWAYS good to be with Louise.
She fills us up.
We so enjoyed our short visit.
Then......headed on down to Myrtle Beach!
The azaleas along the way were simply gorgeous.
Had dinner at one of our favorite places at the beach ~
yum!
We finished the night off with some Final Four Basketball!!!!
The next morning.....after sleeping in.....headed RIGHT to the beach! Woohoo!!!!!!

An added blessing for me .....
I got to spend the day with a special friend, Pat.
AND to top it all....it was her b'day week!
We so loved our time together ~ talking & laughing.
We met up at Broadway at the Beach ~
and this store.......our family's FAVORITE! :)
Much of our time was spent on the beach......
Enjoying the sound of the water ~
the sand.....the peace.
Loved our reading time....um yes, with a few naps in there too!

The last morning we had a fun surprise ~
the coquinas were EVERYWHERE!
It made me so happy.
We grew to LOVE the coquinas in Florida where my parents lived.
What a wonderful few days.....away......together.
Thankful....so thankful.
