One of the most beautiful sights of DC are the cherry blossoms each spring.
We love to go down to the Tidal Basin each year to enjoy the beauty of these trees.
Being out of town for Spring Break and having a busy week....we missed the peak blossoms.
Alden texted me as he left work and asked if I'd like to head down to see the trees ~ so we picked up Panera dinner and headed down to see what we could see.
We found a few trees that were just beautiful ~ we so enjoyed them.
The colors are just so pretty.
The tidal basin was way beyond peak, but we walked around for a bit.

Now the azaleas are just about to pop!
We put out our chairs by the Potomac and enjoyed our dinner.

The temps dropped from 85 to 60 in about 30 minutes.
What a wonderful evening ~ together.
