Early June Weekend

We had another GREAT weekend ~

Alden and I had a date night Friday nite in Old Town Alexandria

Enjoyed Cosi dinner.....then walked down toward the river

ending up at the fountain.....

where we talked and enjoyed the people

Before heading home......

we went to enjoy Steve's band playing at a club not too far from our house ~

great way to end our evening.

Saturday we did some chores, then headed to

Andrea's soccer game,

meeting up with Christy, Andrea and Ayden.

Phill and Brittany were at her game at another location!

cooling off in the heat ~ it has been so hot recently they not only have the regular time outs, but water breaks as well.

Saturday evening we headed to a cook out ~

with special friends.....who sure know how to cook!

Banana pudding was one of the favorites. Yum!

Chatting ~ This group meets through the year and we do a Bible Study together

THE group ~ we have a ball together. We laugh, we encourage, we enjoy each other.

We sat outside and visited til the moon came up.....

what a wonderful, relaxing evening.

Today we headed to church, then Courtney and Pat dropped off Sawyer to spend the day with us. Courtney and Pat and the 3 bigger kids went to a Nationals game.....

We loved hanging out with Sawyer :)

Alden and I ended the weekend eating out on the deck ~

a rain storm came through and

cooled things off.

Yet again ~ a wonderful weekend!
