Very special people in our lives ~
Bonnie is Alden's Mom's sister....and Bill is her husband.
Bill passed away last Thursday.
The service for him was Saturday.
We drove down to NC Friday night
so we could be there with the family.
We are so VERY thankful that we had just visited this dear couple
in July ~ for Alden's b'day trip.

and then became a highway patrolman
Bill and Bonnie's church had a wonderful service ~
as well as serving the family lunch.
The South does it so well.

We travelled from their home church in Cary, NC
to Bill's home church for the burial.
It was very special to see the Air Force and police be a part of the service.

It was good to be with them ~ to remember Bill
and to have that HOPE that Bill is in heaven with his Lord
and we'll see him someday again.
God's comfort we pray for this dear family.

What a special service with the family. What a GIFT that you were able to have had such a precious visit with them just a few short weeks ago!!! A beautiful family - I'm glad you were able to be a part of the service with them.
