Celebrating Alden

On his birthday ~ today!

Alden loves sports ~ and is RIGHT in there if some game is going on!

He still runs 3 times a week ~ I love that about him.

But.....he knows how to relax too.

I love that about him as well.

 

He loves the beach........

 

He cares about his family ~ and people all around.

His kids mean the world to him.

 

 

His grandkids ~ each and every one.

 



 

Alden is not one to slow down......he is always on the go.....

and sometimes.....forgets to do something.  {Um....like walk his daughter down

the aisle at her wedding rehearsal!}  Haha!!!!!!

 

His brother ~ his best friend. {besides me of course!}

preparing dinner for us, and being the best mom.

Pat did show up a little late ~ you know.....that work!

 

It is so fun seeing the kids look for Pat's great nod of approval ~ and rejoicing with them.

 

P.S.  I got to enjoy the day with Courtney and the kiddos.  It was Lincoln's birthday and such

 a pleasure to celebrate him.  We all went to McD for lunch.  Courtney and I got a

visit while all the kids napped or read.  Sweet moments.

Courtney got to go to the pool to read ~ summer's fun....

and I got to play with the older guys a bit.

Grandkids Day - Summer 2013

 

Alden and I had the GREAT pleasure of spending the day with our 9 grandkids!
