Leaving her house in Arlington
arriving at her new home in DC
packing up
two cars and a trailer full
............moving into the new place
her front door is open: The doors and windows are all barred, so she is very safe.
They walk in this front door (the ones up the stairs), into a little foyer with two doors. Their front door and the apt above them also has their front door here. There is a basement apt. and you can see that door to the left of Hannah's, downstairs. So you see, to get to Hannah's apt. you go through three locked doors. The gate, the brown door and then the green door. Yep, mom and dad are happy about the security!Isn't the door beautiful?
walking in their real front door, to a foyer and kitchen straight ahead
Hannah and Sarah will keep their bikes in their foyer :)
living room and door out to the deck
This apt. is newly renovated and so cute. See how they kept part of the original brick and framed it! Really adds character.
kitchen (it is NOT pink, not sure why the pic came out so pink)
bedroom
Beginning to look like home ~ the hardwood floors are beautiful
deck out back (again, it has a locked gate over the door and windows!)
this is the patio for the basement apt. If you look over Hannah's deck you see this. :)
So lovely
Home :)
Standing on her front porch looking down the street. If you look both ways, this is what you see. Lovely row houses.
Dreams do come true.
Happy living in DC Hannah and Sarah. :) God's blessings on your new home.
A wonderful buffet lunch was served following the service.
