After a week of rain ~ and mighty rain .......
the sun came out.......
and Alden and I headed down to NC
amidst the cotton fields........
to a funeral for a special lady ~ Martha, Alden's Aunt
It was a very special service.

The church gave the family a most wonderful lunch
and gave us time to visit.

We so appreciated being with the family during this difficult time.
On our way home we stopped in Richmond
to have dinner with my brother-in-law Richard
and my sister Kim.
What a good time we had!
