After a week of rain ~ and mighty rain .......
the sun came out.......
and Alden and I headed down to NC
amidst the cotton fields........
to a funeral for a special lady ~ Martha, Alden's Aunt
It was a very special service.
Linwood and Martha's only child ~ Joy,
gave a very special tribute to her mom.

The church gave the family a most wonderful lunch
and gave us time to visit.

We so appreciated being with the family during this difficult time.
On our way home we stopped in Richmond
to have dinner with my brother-in-law Richard
and my sister Kim.
What a good time we had!
Sunday, after church, we headed to......
to cheer the Redskins on!

We headed home........enjoying the sunset.....
Tired, yet content.....
to ready for the week ahead.
