Catching Up

I'm pretty behind on blogging, so I'll try to catch up a little.

Every other Wednesday I go to Courtney's ~

and she and I talk and talk, while the 3 boys play!

Ya'll would get a hoot out of Courtney and I ~

we often write a list so we won't forget to tell each other

things.  We talk......we play with the boys.....we talk while

playing with the boys.  We women can do such things,

can't we!  We love our time together.  AND....

of course, I love being with the boys....

and seeing their smiles....

and by the way, Lincoln's English is AMAZING.

He understands me and I understand every word he says.

Simply awesome to watch the progress.

AND.....Levi  smiles the BIGGEST smile

with those adorable eyes.

I love watching Sawyer and Lincoln

play together.

Yep, my Wednesdays are SO fun!

Our hibiscus are still beautiful!!!!!!!!

They have LOVED the RAIN (of which we've

had plenty haven't we!).

If you peek through the deck railing....

you can see the yellow one in the backyard.

Here it is close up.  I LOVE it!!!!!!

Random I know ~ here is the Springfield Mixing Bowl.

It was on the news and I loved seeing that view of it.

Usually......we are DRIVING those roads,

but it was kinda fun to SEE the big picture.

Pretty amazing.  They have worked on that for YEARS!

It really has helped the congestion of traffic in this area.

Last weekend my school had our beginning of year ~

All-School Picnic.

We had Phill and Christy's kids ~ uh yes, our grandkids ~

Brittany, Andrea and Ayden.

So........... they came right along with us.

What fun we had! 

There were fun activites for the kids.  See Ayden jumping!

We picked the girls up from soccer games ~

they forgot their regular shoes.....

so they got to choose from Hannah's wonderful assortment

of athletic shoes.  They loved it!

Um yes, Hannah has a thing about athletic shoes.....

has a hard time parting with them.

 Fairfax County came with an ambulance and fire truck ~

the kids got to sit in the ambulance.

 Brittany got an EKG.

She was pretty happy about that ~

she'd like to study in the medical field.

School is calming down a bit ~

I'd have to say the beginning of the year is one

hectic time.  I LOVE my work.

I'm thankful the days are slowing down and

we're getting more into a routine.

Here comes another weekend ~
