Summer 2007
Hmmmmmm......................summer IS here and it feels really good. We had a rain storm last night and the birds and squirrels are scurrying around this morning and there is a nice breeze, with cooler temps. Nice.
Signs of summer are everywhere ~ impatiens are blooming beautifully, the squash and tomato plants are growing more each day (with tiny fruit on each plant), the hibiscus blooms gloriously each day, Wimbledon is on, the smell of grilled meals each evening as people cook out, lots of time spent in the sun room and on the deck, sunscreen sits waiting to be used, bee stings (ouch!), books sitting around BEING read (not just wishing to), projects to be done and getting done, visions of beach time later in the summer, time spent with friends and family, and simply a more relaxed feeling. I'm so incredibly grateful for having summers off ....one of the blessing of working at a school. Thank you God for these days.

It is no nice to hear of the great times you all are having this summer!! Enjoy it while it is here... I know that we are trying to do just that also. We miss and love you all very much.
