Plow Came ~ Few More Good Pics

You will see what this basketball is all about later in the post!
The BIG plow (rubber tire front loader Alden says!) came last night at midnight!!!!! Yahoo! The calvary arrived. He did an AWESOME job and we so appreciate the hard work these people have done all around our area.
We had a huge icicle RIGHT above our front door ~ Alden enjoyed getting it down ~ with a basketball no less. :)
Insert 1st picture at the top of blog. Sorry having a bit of trouble loading my pictures just right these days.
Success!!!!!
Just pretty ~
Here is the infamous icicle that was brought down with the b'ball
If you look real hard you can see the icicle above the door and how high it was! See it DIRECTLY over the front door. It was bad news waiting to happen.
Perfect spot for a car!
Alden and our GREAT neighbor went to getting Alden's truck out yesterday
Digging
digging
digging some more ~
Success ~ thanks Jim. These two men have more energy that anyone I know!!!!! What a team they make.
:)
Cassie ~ our 20 year old cat finally made it out for a peek at the snow yesterday. She didn't stay long!
One of the projects I did while snowed in ~ writing all my recipes on "pretty recipe cards".
As I wrote out these recipes, I thought through where the recipes came from. Really a fun thing to do.
Two of our family favorites came from a neighbor in Germany ~ and from this cookbook. I had totally forgotten!!!!!
Much fun was had ~ much work was done ~ resting happened. Thankful for this week off from "normal life". Now.....back to life we go. Thankful we are all safe and sound.
And......can't wait for the Olympics! Have you seen the Google design today?! Really nice!

I still can't believe the amount of snow you got. You have been very upbeat about it. Loved the pictures.
