Well, the DC area has had a 3 day repieve from the weekend snow storm........we have shoveled, and shoveled and shoveled some more. The 2nd snow storm is underway........

It is open.....now with two mountains of snow on either side. Makes it tough to get out on Rolling Road (main road out of our subdivision).
Alden and I walked up to the coffee shop and got a hot chocolate the Sunday after the 1st storm
It is just about too much to take in ~ these two storms coming back to back. It is life, and we just go with the flow. We love snow storms and the way it makes us slow down ~ as few things will do that for this area (maybe a sniper?).
We are warm and safe in our house ~ and we are thankful. Alden went to work today for the 1st time all week. Dorian is out of school at least through Wednesday. I would imagine we will be out all week.
Alden and I have been sick and are not well yet ~ we are ready to be feeling better!
For now ~ we take in the powerful snowstorm.
