Memorial Day Weekend ~

What an honor to remember those who have given their lives to give us freedom.

We are grateful.

Our church has a tradional service each Memorial Day to honor those who serve in the military.

The military ~ active and retired ~ wear their uniforms to church.

We honor them.

I love you Alden.

We enjoyed seeing all of our family this weekend ~ we often have the whole family gathering but it was fun to see everyone.....separately. We saw Courtney and Pat Saturday night ~ they had a wedding to go to and we babysat the kiddos. We celebrated Phill's birthday ~ Happy Birthday Phill!!!!!! We went downtown DC to enjoy some time with Hannah ~ and friends This is Hannah's shopping and gym area. Do you see her gym on the top floor? Wow...what an incredible place to work out!!!! What a neat shopping area....Target, Best Buy, etc. right there near her house! We sat at a little fountain area ~ visited and enjoyed some frozen yogurt. Isn't this the neatest? You get your cup then the whole wall is covered with "spouts" of yogurt for you to serve yourself. A zillion flavors and toppings. Then you pay.....by weight of your cup. Wow! Advertisement for "Frozenyo" ~ called Fro Yo!!!! Love it! What a fun time we had! The kids Saturday night ~ Rebekah, Joshua, Bailey and Sawyer
