Daughter Day

Hannah spent the night at our house last night ~

and we got to catch up with her!

What fun for us.  :)

She is about to head to Rwanda with Courtney and Pat (on Sunday!)

and then only a few days after returning from that trip....

she will head to South America for a few months. 

She is checking her list off little by little.

LOTS to do and much fun to be had. 

We LOVE our time with Hannah.

Courtney and I met up for lunch today ~ what a treat that was ~

to spend some time together .....

before she and Pat leave for Rwanda to get their two sons!!!!!!

We ate at Jacksons in Reston Town Center ~ so fun!

We planned this awhile ago ~ to be sure to connect before their great adventure begins.

We certainly enjoyed a few ozzie rolls ~

Ohhhh it was SOOOOOOO good to just be the two of us (no kiddos).....

to REALLY be able to listen and hear each other's hearts. 
The adoption has been SUCH a process for almost 2 years now ~
we are so awed by Courtney and Pat and their desire to have these 2 precious boys.

It was just good to hear how things are going, that the planning has been worth it,
and that calm hearts reign as they keep their eyes on God.
I love you Courtney.  You are one AMAZING woman.
You are entering a BIG adventure....
and we're glad to be doing it with you guys.

It was SO good to have spent some good time with my girls.  :)
