Grandkid Sleepover 2011

{I have 3 posts that I will putting up in the next couple days

from the last few weeks.  Days were FULL and I just couldn't take the time to post!

Every year we try to have the grandkids' overnight ~

all of them at once! 

It is a time of SHEER FUN for all.

 June 4-5 it happened!!!!!!

 Alden and I got the house ready ~

food prepared, games and activities planned....

this quiet house......

Was wonderfully FILLED with our grandkids ~

Brittany (16), Andrea (13), Rebekah (9), Joshua (7), Bailey (6),

Sawyer (3) and Ayden (2)

and the FUN began! 

Water balloons were a BIG hit!

What a hoot this was ~

Alden was at a men's retreat and didn't arrive home until the late afternoon Sat.

The grandkids had a GREAT plan....

to GET Papa when he arrived.

They filled the balloons, stationed themselves,

and sure enough GOT papa with balloons as he arrived!

(grandparent perogative to serve JUNK food right???!)

 AND.....then a trip to Dairy Queen!

Ohhhh, what a GREAT time was had by ALL.

AND.....grandma and papa......need a nap!
