Alden and I went away for a few days ~ to the Bahamas.
It was our first time there and oh what a beautiful place it is
and what a great time we had.

We spent many an hour in these beach chairs.....watching the beautiful ocean, reading, and yep, napping some more
date night :)
This pool became our "dining room" at night. They would put up tables, with delicious food, and lights and a band ~ for dancing the night away.

this was one of our favorite water rides. You walk up a structure. Go down the slide on a tube....and end up in the clear tube with water in it....and wave action to keep you going....and yes, you are in an aquarium with sharks! WHAT? So cool.
the archway....is a suite. $25,000 a night.
Michael Jordan stayed there. And by the way, there is a 4 night minimum stay.

Yep....we left at the sunrise and arrived back home at sunset last night.
Just beautiful.
Very thankful.

ahh, SO great! i love all the pictures and the trip does look like it was amazing. a perfect balance of seeing incredible things and just experiencing relaxing some together:) can't wait to hear more about it! love you guys!
