Wednesday

Wednesdays are a great day for me ~ my day off.....in the midst of a week of work. Now, yes, I love my work ~ supporting those who teach children not only academics, but also about living life with a Christian world view. I love seeing teachers work through student squabbles, hurt feelings, learning difficulties, yes, even cheating and lying.....but with prayers, and forgiveness, and God's Word to solve the problems of the day. Yep, I love my work. But.....Wednesdays I do different stuff. I usually sleep in (maybe see 7 on the clock!) a tad. I spend some time with my Lord in His Word and pray. Sometimes I go to Courtney's and enjoy her and the kids, or I run errands, or do projects around the house, or meet with Hannah or some of my friends.....whatever "my other life ~ besides work" calls for. I love the switching of gears in the middle of the week.

This Wednesday Courtney and Pat had some adoption "to do's" and I enjoyed their kids. Joshua, Bailey and Sawyer and I went to lunch at McD, then saw Joshua off to school. Bailey and Sawyer and I took a walk in the beautiful weather and played pictionary. I enjoyed an hour and a half "rest" while they took a nap. I read magazines in the porch ~ lovely.
